We would hope that the fees would be returned to the applicant if the visa is refused.
Any unsigned declarations, false information, forged or fraudulent documentation will result in the refusal of your application and no appeal will be permitted. The onus is on you, the applicant, to satisfy the Visa Officer that a visa should be granted. The granting of a Student Visa does not entitle you to have any person, whether related to you or not, to join or visit you in Ireland.

Impact of New UK Visa Policy on Professionals

New UK Visa policy changed the life of a lot of overseas professionals who were trying to stay in UK or turning their status to High Skilled Migrant Programme.
New UK Visa policy change will allow thousands of professionals' visas to return and work in the UK. The returning professionals were advised to leave the country when the immigration rules changed. Thousands of Indian professionals were left with no option but to return home from Britain since they did not qualify under the new criteria introduced.Under the new visa policy guidelines all such Indian and other non-EU professionals would now be allowed to return to Britain and resume work under the criteria which they first entered the UK. It is estimated that following the introduction of the criteria around 5,000 highly skilled migrants were forced to leave Britain. The rules which were passed by the UK border & immigration agency also saw many asians whom applied for extensions to their visas refused, and were instead served deportation orders.Despite this changed criteria, new policy guidance will now cover not only migrants who were approved, but also those who were refused extension under the unlawful rules entry to the UK again. It is also assumed that this will also apply to those migrants who did not apply for extensions and to migrants who have either switched immigration categories to more restrictive visa regimes. With many countries competing for highly skilled workers to aid their individual skills pools, the UK has been forced to re-evaluate the criteria which saw many professionals leave and to restore their status as Highly skilled migrants in the UK.

Get free guideline to get student visa of canada

Students who want to study abroad are encouraged to apply for canadian student visa as per the visa policy. A study permit is not required if the course or study program lasts six months or less. This document is based on the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act as passed on November 1, 2001, and its proposed Regulations, scheduled to be implemented on June 28, 2002. Ottawa, April 27, 2006 — Foreign students studying in Canada can apply for off-campus work permits effective immediately, the Honourable Monte Solberg, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, announced today. Foreign students contribute approximately $4 billion a year to Canada's economy. There are about 100,000 foreign students in Canada who could be eligible for work permits under the Off-Campus Work Permit Program. The program is not intended to take jobs away from Canadian students. Each applicant will be required to compete for employment on an equal basis with Canadians. Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) has signed agreements with most provinces to implement the program, and agreements with New Brunswick and the Yukon are currently being finalized. The agreements allow eligible foreign students at public post-secondary institutions to work off-campus for up to 20 hours a week during the school year and full-time during study breaks. Eligible foreign students can apply for an off-campus work permit immediately, and may be able to work off-campus as early as this summer. The work permit is valid for the duration of their study permit. "CIC is working in cooperation with the provinces and territories to make Canada a destination of choice by making it easier for foreign students to work in Canada during and after their studies," said Minister Solberg. "Off-campus work agreements will make it easier for students to gain work experience in the Canadian labour market and earn extra income while studying," he said. The Canadian Federation of Students, the Fédération étudiante universitaire du Québec, the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada and the Association of Canadian Community Colleges, who have all been consulted on the initiative, support efforts to make it easier for foreign students to work in Canada. "With Canadian work experience, foreign students will be able to integrate into the Canadian labour force more quickly.

Family migration in Australia

Family Migration in Australia:

This popular Australian migration program allows family members of Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or eligible New Zealand citizens to become permanent residents of Australia.
Family migration represents nearly half of the Australian migration program each year. There are many visa subclasses which depend on the nature of the family relationship. These include:
* Spouse * Brothers/Sisters/Nephews/Nieces/Cousins * Defacto Spouse * Interdependency relationship * Prospective Marriage (Fiancee') * Parent * Child and Aged Relatives * Remaining Relatives * Orphan * Carers
Avoid errors and risks in your application - Use our experience to your advantage Skilled Migration
Applicants for skilled migration must have an occupation on the Skilled Occupations List (the SOL). This is a selection of occupations from the Australian Standard Classification of Occupations dictionary (the ASCO).
An important pre-requisite for a visa application is a successful skills assessment carried out by the relevant Australian authority. The name of the authority is designated on the SOL. This can sometimes be a complex and time consuming procedure involving a knowledge of the requirements of the particular assessing body.
Thornton Immigration have years of experience in assisting clients with skills assessments and can help you avoid unnecessary delays and problems.
Recent Work Experience:
An applicant for a permanent skilled visa must prove that he or she has 'recent work experience" in any occupation on the SOL of at least 12 months prior to the lodgement of the application.
This requirement is often confused with the "Specific Work Experience" component of the points test. Specific work experience is a source of addtional points that help satisfy the 'points test' below. "Recent work experience", on the other hand, is simply a pre-requisite to an application so that a person lacking 'recent work experience' cannot make a successful application, no matter what.

The Points Test:
A points test applies to most skilled applications. Points are awarded for the following.
1) Applicant's age, 2) English language ability 3) Skill.

Bonus points also apply in some cases.

Minimum pass marks apply to the various categories. Additional points for 'Specific Work Experience' can also be obtained where an applicant has worked for 3 out of the last 4 years in the nominated occupation prior to the application. If a person has 3 years of work experience, but not all of it in the nominated occupation it is still possible in most cases, to score additional points

You must also provide certain documents:

* If you are under 45 and not sponsored by a State or Territory Government, it is necessary for you to make a designated investment into Government Bonds of A$1.5 Million. * If you are sponsored by a State or Territory Government, it is necessary for you to make a designated investment into Government Bonds of A$750,000. While this is a lesser amount it does commit you to settle in that State or Territory over the ensuing 4 year period and requires you to be sponsored by that Government Agency. In all likelihood this will involve a Business Plan.
The intention of this category is that you will go into business or invest in Australia after you have made your designated investment and after the visa is granted.
